Our radiation oncology experts work in collaboration with the department's Divisions of Medical Physics, Clinical Research, and Translational Radiation Sciences to provide the highest quality cutting-edge care for patients. Our team of radiation oncologists work as part of a multidisciplinary team with the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC) medical, surgical and other oncology specialists to deliver a customized treatment plan for each individual patient.

Division of Translational Radiation Sciences

The Division of Translational Radiation Sciences (DTRS) was established to accelerate the discovery and clinical implementation of new therapeutic strategies to improve tumor response in clinical radiotherapy, minimize post-radiation therapy complications, and treat the life-threatening health effects in the event of a radioactive or nuclear agent.
