Biomedical Data Mining Laboratory (BDML)
The Biomedical Data Mining Laboratory coordinates the analysis of complex biomedical data, including spatiotemporal data, such as MR images, neural activity data from optical devices and electrophysiology, genetic data, and other clinical and demographic data, with the goals of determining brain-behavior associations, phenotypic signatures that differentiate patients with various disorders from control subjects, and image-based and genetic features that predict outcomes.
The laboratory is situated in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and is supported by a combination of government and industry grants.
