Calling All Students: UMB Seeking Student Tutors for Literacy Tutoring Program

Literacy-ProgramThe University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Academy of Lifelong Learning Literacy Tutoring Program is recruiting UMB students who are interested in providing structured literacy tutoring to youth from the West Baltimore community. The program, open to students in grades 1-5, is a highly structured, in-person program held on campus three times per week for 10 weeks.

This year’s program will be held from March 4 - May 16, 2024 from 3:15 p.m.-5:15 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons.

Tutoring sessions will be held on campus in UMB's Saratoga Building at 220 Arch Street, in the conference room on the ground floor.

Tutoring positions are paid.
