Onsite Broadcast Studio
Thanks to our state-of-the-art broadcast studio, news organizations around the world may conduct live or taped interviews with University of Maryland physicians and researchers at any time, without sending a crew to Baltimore. The studio is a service of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the University of Maryland Medical Center, and is operated in partnership with VideoLink, which can control the camera and lighting remotely from their Boston headquarters. The studio is capable of transmitting broadcast quality HD video to all news media organizations and can be used to create and record video and webcasts.
The studio is conveniently on the first floor of the Bressler Research Building (1-009), at 655 W. Baltimore Street.
Once your interview request is confirmed with the media relations team at the University of Maryland, you will coordinate the shot with VideoLink, which will assist with the camera operation and lighting.
