Welcome

The Connection Learning Healthcare System is one of the eight hubs of the Early Psychosis Intervention Network (EPINET), a nationwide research endeavor to improve clinical care and outcomes for people experiencing early psychosis. Connection LHS serves Pennsylvania and Maryland, with 20 sites across the two states.

The Connection LHS hub is a collaboration between the University of Maryland School of Medicine, the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, Sheppard Pratt, the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

What is Coordinated Specialty Care?

Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) is a recovery-oriented treatment program model. A CSC team works with people with early psychosis and their families. CSC teams in our hub are typically comprised of a lead and secondary therapist, a psychiatrist or medication prescriber, a peer support specialist, a supported education and employment specialist, and a case manager.

What is the Early Psychosis Intervention Network (EPINET)?

Clients and their families, clinicians, health care administrators, and scientific experts partner within EPINET to improve early psychosis care and conduct large-scale, practice-based research.
