Our Mission
The mission of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is to support the positive development of children and wellness of families.
We accomplish this through a “Family-Centered” approach, with strong collaboration with community stakeholders (parent consumers, family advocates, community providers, and child-serving agency leaders) to respond to their needs and priorities.
As child mental health experts, our focus spans from prevention strategies that promote resilience to innovative treatments that address complex and serious behavioral health concerns. Our faculty includes expert clinicians and scientists who are leaders in child mental health clinical care, research, and training.
