The Older Adult Psychiatry Inpatient Unit

The 13-bed unit is located on the 12th floor, East Wing of the North Hospital Building on the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) downtown campus at 22 South Greene Street. The unit admits individuals ages 50 years and older.

We are based in an academic, general medical center, and can collaboratively care for patients on our inpatient unit who have both psychiatric and significant medical problems. Expert medical, surgical, and neurological consultation teams are available for our patients.
