Biosketch
Dr. Young graduated cum laude from Yale College in 2016 with a B.S. in ecology and evolutionary biology. He completed his medical education at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2020 and received the Clinical Research Award upon graduation. During his training in general adult psychiatry at Yale New Haven Hospital, he was awarded the Ira Levine Award for "clinical excellence, breadth of learning, and devotion to the care of severe psychiatric illness." He also served as chief resident in consultation-liaison psychiatry and chief resident in quality improvement and administration.
Dr. Young is board certified in general adult psychiatry. He currently serves as faculty for the University of Maryland, Midtown Campus where he practices consultation-liaison, emergency, and inpatient psychiatry.
