I am an Emergency Medicine clinician with experience in leading industry-funded research. My research career began as an attending physician at the University of South Florida Emergency Medicine Residency Program where I became the Director of Research in 2010. In that role, I was responsible for carrying out numerous industry-funded research studies. After relocating to the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2012, I have developed a clinical research program with a substantial infrastructure to carry out multiple studies simultaneously. The research projects I have been involved with have covered a vast array of medical areas. Currently, I am involved in multiple studies assessing different therapeutic medications. As the principal investigator, I have gained knowledge on regarding the entire process of developing and successfully completing research projects within a reasonable timeline and budget.
