Biosketch
Dr. Vashist is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine.
He is a pediatric cardiologist with expertise in management of cardiovascular disorders in children. He has special interest and advanced fellowship training in “pediatric electrophysiology”. This field pertains to diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disturbances in fetus, pediatric patients and adults with congenital heart disease. Within this field his area of special interest is prevention of Sudden Cardiac Death in the Young.
He is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS) and member of Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES). He is a board certified pediatric electrophysiology specialist.
