Research Interests
Dr. Srivastava’s research interests focus on the use of optic coherence tomography (OCT) imaging for the evaluation of coronary microvasculature in patients who have undergone cardiac transplant and are being evaluated for transplant vasculopathy. Another area of interest is the evaluation of left atrial appendage morphology by computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) along with stroke risk correlation, specifically in women.
Clinical Specialty Details
Dr. Srivastava’s clinical interests include coronary interventions, spanning radial angiography and intervention, plaque modification utilizing rotational atherectomy, and mechanical support devices. She is also interested in structural heart interventions including left atrial appendage ligation and left ventricular remodeling devices such as the Parachute device. She has an office and hospital-based practice at the University of Maryland Cardiology Practice in Westminster, MD. Through involvement in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine’s quality program, she is involved with quality initiatives in the cardiac inpatient services and interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedural areas.
