Biosketch
Sarah Smith PT, DPT, GCS is an Assistant Professor and the Assistant Director of Clinical Education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science. Upon graduation from Columbia University, she completed residency training, and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy. She has over 10 years of experience primarily in the outpatient setting specializing in treating the older adult population with a variety of neurologic and orthopedic diagnoses, limb loss rehabilitation, and prosthetic training. Dr. Smith has served as a clinical instructor for over one hundred physical therapy students completing their integrated and full-time clinical experiences.
