Biosketch

Dr. Rowland graduated from the University of Delaware with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He is an assistant professor at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science. He also serves as team physical therapist within the athletic department for the University of Maryland Terrapins. Dr. Rowland most recently worked as a direct access provider under a United States Special Operations Command program within the Department of Defense. It is there that he gained experience in diagnostic ultrasound and earned his certification in musculoskeletal sonography. His interest is in human performance optimization and has had the opportunity to lecture on the topic to military providers at the annual Colonel Kersey Advanced Clinical and Operational Practice Course at the Army-Baylor Graduate School.
