Dr. Patel finished her medical school from University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, AL. She completed her internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She joined faculty at the University of Maryland in 2014.
