Biosketch

Following cardiothoracic fellowship I practiced adult cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery for 14 years. I joined the Shock Trauma faculty after completing a surgical critical care fellowship and am the chief of thoracic and vascular trauma. In addition to a clinical practice, my research interests include aortic and great vessel injury, thoracic damage control surgery, penetreing thoracic trauma and extra-corporeal membrance oxygention.
