Biosketch

Dr Moayedi has been teaching at the SOM since 2004. His academic interests include medical student education, invasive medical procedure education, difficult intravenous access and cardiac pacing research. He is the director of four CME procedure courses and serves as the director of the medical student emergency medicine elective and clerkship at Mercy Medical Center. His various online procedure videos have over 4 million views.

Dr. Moayedi works clinically at the Mercy Medical Center Emergency Department as well as the Department of Hyperbaric Medicine at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. 

He has been serving on the Education Committee for the American Academy of Emergency Medicine since 2015 focusing on procedure education small group sessions at their annual scientific assembly. He is an Associate Editor for the upcoming 8th edition of Roberts and Hedges Clinical Procedures in Emergency Medicine and Acute Care, the definitive text book of EM procedures.
