Colleen Jodarski, MGC, CGC is a board-certified genetic counselor and instructor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UM-SOM). Prior to joining UM-SOM in 2024, she worked as genetic counselor for the Centralized Sequencing Program at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

In her current position, Ms. Jodarski works closely with Dr. Toni Pollin to lead and participate in gene curation efforts and gene-specific variant curation rule development with the ClinGen Genomic Clinical Variant Expert Curation Panel for Monogenic Diabetes. In addition, she is involved with the Rare and Atypical Diabetes Network (RADIANT), a multi-site study aimed at discovering and defining rare and atypical forms of diabetes. Her role with RADIANT involves returning genetic results to research participants as well as reviewing and annotating genome sequencing results as part of the Discovery team.
