Biosketch

Genevieve is a Certified Nurse Midwife having graduated from Yale University School of Nursing with a Master's in Nursing. She is a dual Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Before going back to school to become a midwife, Genevieve received her Bachelor's in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems and worked in farming and farm-to-school programing for the better part of a decade. 
Prior to coming to UMB School of Medicine, she worked at Physicians and Midwives, a collaborative practice in northern Virginia. There she worked both in-patient at Inova Alexandria Hospital and in the clinic setting providing care to pregnant and non-pregnant individuals across their lifespan. 
Her clinical interests include supporting physiologic birth, health at every size and trauma informed care.
