Biosketch

Dr. Burke is a leading academic pathologist with primary specialty expertise in thoracic pathology. His clinical research has involved the pathology of coronary atherosclerosis, sudden cardiac death, cardiomyopathy, cardiac tumors, carcinomas of the lung, interstitial lung disease, and mesotheliomas of the peritoneum and pleura.  He is the author of over 200 peer-reviewed publications in these areas.
