Biosketch
Dr. Brown earned her Ph.D. in Human Services Psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Medicine in 2006 from UMBC. She has worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Kate Tracy and went on to complete an Epidemiology of Aging Postdoctoral Fellowship under the direction of Dr. Jay Magaziner; both at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is currently on the faculty of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health in the Division of Gerontology. She is a health behavior change expert and health survey research methodologist.
