Biosketch

Dr. Christine Yang received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her internship and residency training at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. 

After completing her residency training, she served as a pediatric hospitalist in a community hospital in Bel Air, MD caring for neonatal and pediatric patients in the newborn nursery, level II Special Care Nursery, and the inpatient pediatric unit. 

She joined the faculty of the University of Maryland School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in 2020 to support the new Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit. Dr. Yang currently serves as an inpatient attending for the Pediatric Hospitalist service and has a special interest in resident education, mentorship, and wellness.
