Biosketch
Having grown up in Rockville, MD, Dr. Weiner was eager to move back to Maryland to practice after finishing medical school and residency in Cleveland, OH. She started working at the University of Maryland in 2015 after working for Kaiser Permanente as a primary care physician for two years. Dr. Weiner sees patients with a wide arrange of medical concerns in the faculty general internal medicine practice where she also works with internal medicine residents. She also attends on an inpatient medicine service for a small part of the year.

Research Interests
Dr. Weiner's current research interests are outcomes research for chronic kidney disease and acute kidney injury in collaboration with Dr. Jeffery Fink. She is also interested in other care delivery issues in the practice of taking care of patients with chronic diseases.
