Biosketch

Alisa Pravdo, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her doctorate in physical therapy and began her career at Concentra Medical Centers as a staff therapist in Baltimore. She was the center therapy director at a multiple physical therapist center from 2013- 2017. Dr. Pravdo completed her residency in manual orthopedic physical therapy followed immediately by her fellowship in manual orthopedics. In 2016, Dr. Pravdo became a recognized Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. She has been the mentor to a number of students from various physical therapy institutions. Currently, Dr. Pravdo teaches within the doctor of physical therapy program and works with patients at the University of Maryland Orthopaedics and Associates School of Medicine Practice at Camden Yards

Dancing since a very young age, Dr. Pravdo has always had an interest and love for movement, the mind and body connection and for physical health. She enjoys working with patients who have musculoskeletal conditions from pediatrics to geriatrics and has a passion for manual therapy, dance/performing arts rehabilitation, return to sport and running and for general orthpaedic conditions.
