Biosketch
Dr. Maluf is a transplant surgeon with more than 19 years of experience in clinical and translational research. He is also the Director of the Program in Transplantation at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and manages IMS and transplant patients clinically.
He has expertise in kidney, liver, liver transplant, living donor liver, pancreas and renal transplantation.
In liver transplantation, Dr. Maluf’s primary interest is in Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury and precisely how to target pathways with therapeutic interventions.

He has a record of yearly research presentations at national and international meetings such as ATC, ILTS, TTS.
