Biosketch
Dr. Dittmar earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the Baltimore VA Medical Center, followed by a year serving as Chief Resident at the same institutions. Currently, Dr. Dittmar is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with a focus on hospital-based medicine. His professional interests include medical education, particularly in clinical training for medical students and the transition from medical school to residency. He holds several leadership roles, including Assistant Dean for the Clinical Curriculum, Director of the Medicine Sub-Internships, Assistant Clerkship Director for the Medicine Clerkship, and Director of the Practice of Medicine-3 course.
