The following is a list of summer research programs available for undergraduate students that are sponsored by the University of Maryland School of Medicine and its departments.
University of Maryland Scholars Summer Research Program at the School of Medicine
This program builds on the strengths of two great institutions by enabling outstanding University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) undergraduates to become engaged in summer research projects led by top faculty in the University of Maryland School of Medicine at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB).
Nathan Schnaper Intern Program in Translational Cancer Research (NSIP)
The NSIP is a 10-week summer internship for undergraduate students interested in cancer research. The program provides integrated research, educational and clinical experiences that emphasize the translation of laboratory discoveries into clinical applications and inspire the next generation of cancer researchers and physician-scientists.
