How To Apply

Prerequisites for application

While students may apply following the completion of a bachelor’s degree, preference will be given to applicants that have completed two or more years of medical school. Applicants must be in good academic standing and have an interest in pursuing a career in orthopedic surgery. The successful applicant will be responsible, motivated, independent, and research focused.

Application

Email a letter of recommendation, a 500-word personal statement, and your curriculum vitae to Yasmin Degani, MPH, Clinical Research Manager at ydegani@som.umaryland.edu.

Deadline

The deadline for applications is February 15, for the program starting July 1, the same year. However, we recommend submitting an application as soon as possible.
