Orthopaedic Research Fellowship
Our year-long clinical research fellowship provides a solid foundation for a future career in orthopaedics and we are dedicated to providing our fellows with a world-class education.
Research fellows will receive mentorship and personalized guidance from leading academic orthopaedic trauma surgeons and have the opportunity to network with residents, post-doctoral fellows, and attendings from a wide range of programs spanning the entire nation.
Research fellows will be involved in a variety of clinical studies, both prospective and retrospective, including self-directed projects and collaborative projects with our orthopaedic trauma clinical fellows. Our research fellows are fully involved in the clinical pathway while recruiting and consenting study participants, reviewing clinical data, and collecting follow up information from patients.
The Shock Trauma Center boasts a strong didactic program & research fellows will have the opportunity to participate in morning rounds, weekly case presentation conferences, and orthopedic grand rounds.
Our research fellows have a strong track record of success, with opportunities to be first author on all abstracts and manuscripts they significantly contribute to and typically co-author 8-10 publications.

Stipend and Benefits
Research fellows will receive a $20,000-30,000 stipend.
