Teaching Activities in Rehabilitation Medicine
The Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in association with the University of Maryland Medical System, runs an ACGME accredited Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In addition, Residents from the Johns Hopkins PM&R Residency Program rotate on a regular basis at UM Rehab on the spinal cord injury and the traumatic brain injury services.
University of Maryland Neurology Residents also rotate at UM Rehab on the spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and stroke rehabilitation services on a regular basis. There is also a fourth year rehabilitation clerkship (REHAB 541) available to medical students both at UMSOM and at other accredited US medical schools interested in Rehabilitation Medicine.
