The mission of the Maryland Polycystic Kidney Disease Research and Translational Core Center is to facilitate and promote research in the field of polycystic kidney disease at the University of Maryland, locally in the Baltimore-Washington area, and around the world. In addition, we strive to translate the advances made in the laboratory to provide state-of-the-art care to patients with cystic kidney disease and its complications.
To achieve this mission, the Maryland PKD Research and Translational Core Center benefits from the philanthropic support of individuals and foundations. Philanthropic gifts provide start-up funding for novel research ideas, facilitate the development of innovative clinical programs, and assist in building and sustaining teaching programs for nephrologists in training who will care for patients with PKD.
Your support makes a profound impact on the Center’s efforts to improve the lives of individuals with cystic kidney diseases. Thank you for your generous gift.
