Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Clinical Immunology
The Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Clinical Immunology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is working diligently to make life a little less painful for patients with arthritis and other rheumatic diseases, such as lupus.
Our researchers and physicians are dedicated to finding and testing new drug therapies for the management of arthritis. We’re also investigating contributing factors to rheumatic diseases, such as immune-system abnormalities and T-cell deficiencies, and studying ways to prevent bone loss in older men and women.
