Corinne Amelia Lovett, MPH

Linkage to Care Program Manager

As a public health professional, I want to improve health equity in my community. I chose to work with people living with HIV because they are vulnerable to stigma and injustice. I hope to participate in the creation of a just society that helps all people achieve their dreams regardless of status.

Genevieve Beninati, Nurse Practitioner

Journey Center Nurse Practitioner

I am grateful to work at the JACQUES Initiative because we celebrate the unique experiences and identities of all the patients and communities we care for. I feel motivated to help end the HIV Epidemic so that the individuals and communities most impacted by HIV have the best chance to live authentically and make their mark on the world.  Both as a clinician and human being, I care deeply about bodily autonomy, sexual health and wellness and the right to make informed decisions about one’s own body and health care.

I identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and feel privileged to have the skills and knowledge to provide culturally aware, high quality, affirming health care to my community.

I am appreciative to work with a compassionate team that meets individuals where they are and help them meet their own goals.

Walker Weinstein, RN
Journey Center Nurse

I am a transmasculine nurse who is committed to improving the lives of trans* clients, people living with the challenge of HIV, and those with chronic illnesses. I work to meet the care coordination and nursing needs of hospitalized patients, providing linkage to care services for people living with HIV as they transition from the hospital to the community setting, while also working in the community to provide quality gender-affirming care to transgender and non-binary individuals.

Sierra Cary - Brown, BS, CHES
Community Outreach Coordinator

Upon graduating, I wanted to work in a community centered environment that strived for the health education, promotion, and prevention of underserved black communities in Baltimore.
After interning with JACQUES, I knew this was the place to be.

Rhonda Carr
Peer Navigator

I started working in this field in 2012 because I wanted to make a difference with my community, to show my passion for others and to help them with the resources that were not available to me when I was growing up. I have seen so much with my friends and family losing lives. I vowed never to let one more person I love die because of lack of knowledge. I feel I owe this to my community and myself.
