Welcome to the Research Division website at the University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Family and Community Medicine.
Our Vision
Our vision is to develop and sustain a nurturing and productive primary care research environment that fosters collaborative interdisciplinary approaches to promote the health of families and communities, especially that of our most vulnerable populations.
To fulfill our vision, we have three major goals. Our first goal is to improve our division visibility which includes recognition intra-institutionally and across institutions. Secondly, we understand the importance of growth and strive to support the development of junior faculty. Lastly, we want to increase our collaboration within the division and institution as well as outside of the institution.
