The University of Maryland School of Medicine Master of Public Health program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) through December 31, 2022. CEPH is an independent agency recognized by the US Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs outside schools of public health.

Attention All MPH Program Constituents
The University of Maryland School of Medicine MPH Program is currently completing the re-accreditation process with the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). As part of this process, the MPH Program is required to provide our stakeholders with the opportunity to submit feedback (third-party feedback) to CEPH on the MPH Program, its practices, procedures, and policies.
The University of Maryland School of Medicine MPH Program’s accreditation site visit is scheduled for October 3-4, 2022.
CEPH is accepting written comments until 30 days before the site visit. This deadline is 09.03.2022.
Who are the stakeholders and how do you submit a third-party comment?
- Students, alumni, faculty, staff, community partners and members of the general public are all stakeholders who may make a third-party comment during this process. All persons who feel that they have relevant information may submit a third-party comment, including individuals who are also participating in the site visit and self-study and feel they have something additional to contribute.
