ABOUT THE CENTER:

The Mass Spectrometry Center is an Organized Research Center emphasizing collaborative research.

The MSC Vision is to accelerate discovery by providing investigators, on campus and beyond, access to cutting-edge technologies in mass spectrometry.

The MSC Mission is to lead or integrate into research teams with the goal of conducting high quality analytical science, publishing novel research, and obtaining sustainable funding pertaining to biological, medical, and pharmaceutical science including drug discovery and drug development.

The Mass Spectrometry Center is located in Pharmacy Hall North (PHN) and provides state-of-the-art expertise, methodology, and instrumentation to the School of Pharmacy, surrounding UMB research community and beyond. The Mass Spectrometry Center also provides researchers the opportunity to perform and access sophisticated experiments by working closely in a true collaborative effort between faculty, students, and staff scientists.
