UMSOM Office of Academic Administration
The OAA administers all actions related to the processing of faculty and fellows at UMSOM. OAA manages the full scope of the faculty life cycle including recruitment, appointment, tenure status, promotion, leaves of absence, changes in status, and retirement. UMSOM Clinical and Translational Research Training
This program provides training in clinical and translational research for clinicians and scientists, offering a summer introductory course, a Master of Science program in epidemiology and clinical research, and a certificate program in clinical research. epihgen@som.umaryland.edu
Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program)
The CITI Program was founded to meet the needs for training in ethical conduct of research involving humans and animals and offers courses in clinical research, healthcare, professional development, research compliance, safety and other topics. You will be asked a series of enrollment questions to determine a curriculum specific to your role. MDs may earn AMA PRA Category 1 credits. First time users may register by selecting University of Maryland Baltimore (SSO) and log in with your UMB username and password. Once logged in, you can create a new CITI Program account.
National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD)

NIH Guidance and Training on Rigor and Reproducibility
The NIH strives to exemplify and promote the highest level of scientific integrity, public accountability, and social responsibility in the conduct of science. Master's and Certificate Programs at UMB
All seven professional schools at UMB offer master’s and certificate programs. Program focus includes clinical informatics, DEI leadership, global health, integrative health, intercultural leadership, medical cannabis science and therapeutics, palliative care, research administration, and other programs.
Percipio by Skillsoft is a one-stop shop for professional learning provided by UMB Human Resource Services. Percipio offers multiple resources that cover all aspects of professional life, from improving computer proficiency to enhancing leadership skills.
