Pre-Doctoral Graduate Training Fellowships in Molecular Signaling and Structure

Program Description: The Molecular Signaling and Structure Training Program (MSSTP) is designed to provide graduate training at the interface between molecular signal transduction and cell and protein structure. Specialized academic courses are designed to enhance the students expertise in cell signaling and structural biology and enable capable students to pursue innovative research work in the laboratory of their thesis advisor. This prestigious University of Maryland School of Medicine-based program currently supported by the Graduate Program in Life Sciences of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and the University of Maryland Graduate School.

Position Qualifications: Fellowships are available for US citizens and permanent residents who are in their second and third years of study. 

Postions Terms:  Two years of salary (stipend) support. Additionally provides health insurance coverage and financial support to permit students to present their research findings at scientific meetings.
