The UM Pain Medicine program is part of the Department of Anesthesiology of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and uses a multidisciplinary team approach to provide compassionate and comprehensive services to reduce pain, promote coping strategies and improve function and the quality of life. Active patient involvement in the treatment plan is encouraged and therapies are tailored to individual needs.

Our patients are evaluated and treated by the best in the field. Our physicians are all board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology and are faculty members of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology.
