Congratulations! Art Cohen Award Recipient

The Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) recognizes individuals who exemplify compassionate patient care and serve as role models, mentors, and leaders. A few years ago, one of our GHHS students suggested that we honor a non-physician colleague who displays caring, empathy, and excellence in all that they do. The GHHS Members of the class of 2025 have chosen Ms. Caternia Carioti to receive the Art Cohen Award to recognize her dedication to ensuring their experience throughout medical school is terrific. Students were particularly inspired by Ms. Carioti's constant supportive attitude, ability to create an atmosphere of respect and compassion throughout the anesthesiology department, and her constant willingness to fight for medical student education. Congratulations, Caternia, for this well-deserved award!
