2015 Holiday Giving Program
This holiday, the Department of Anesthesiology supported TurnAround Inc., a domestic violence and sexual assault center. Our department staff and friends of the department generously donated a grand total of $10,210.00, in addition to gifts and volunteering.
- We personally shopped for three families living in transitional housing (children’s car seats, bedding, kitchenware, clothing, children’s books and toys and much more).
- We replenished TurnAround’s emergency supplies with much needed diapers, undergarments, personal care items and meal gift cards.
- We generously stocked TurnAround’s food pantry with nonperishable grocery items.
- We made a monetary donation to TurnAround Inc., designated for hotel stays, food, and transportation for victims in crisis.
