2011 Holiday Giving Program – Big Brother Big Sisters

Big smiles were on the face of 6 children this holiday season, thanks to the Department of Anesthesiology. The department opened their hearts, and wallets and shopped till they dropped to fulfill everything on the children’s wish lists, plus more! Four elves from the department delivered 6 overflowing totes right before the holidays. We even had enough to purchase a few extra items for the moms, holiday snacks for the households, gift cards for groceries, and a night out of pizza and movies for the entire family!

Departmental staff personally contributed $545 in cash and the department generously contributed $1000...grand total of $1545! In addition to monetary donations, clothing, toys, school supplies, and gift wrap were also received.

The families, and Big Brothers Big Sisters extend a heartfelt THANK YOU and were overwhelmed with our generosity.
