Samhati Mondal, MBBS, Associate Professor, published two key papers as primary author. In this month’s Anesthesia and Analgesia, she wrote about women in anesthesiology and why many have problems advancing into senior leadership (Mondal S, Oakes D, Humphrey T, Kolarczyk L, Trzcinka A. PMID: 38289857).  In Transfusion, she was the primary author on a paper (published also with Reney Henderson, MD, Assistant Professor) investigating different ratios of protamine dosing for the reversal of heparin following cardiopulmonary bypass.
