Biosketch

Dr. Jerome is a board certified cardiologist who holds board certifications in nuclear cardiology and cardiac computed tomography. (CT), thus specializing in general and nuclear cardiology as well as cardiac CT. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Jerome also serves on multiple committees of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. In addition, he serves as President of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission for Nuclear/Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and also sits on their research committee. He serves on editorial boards, is a reviewer for multiple journals and has published numerous papers.

He is the Director of the Ambulatory Services and Outreach Cardiology for the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and is responsible for operations and oversight of the outpatient cardiology. He has an active clinical practice in both the outpatient and inpatient setting.  Dr. Jerome's clinical specialties include cardiac imaging, general, preventative and sports cardiology. Research interests of his focus on both cardiac prevention and imaging. He is presently the primary investigator of multiple studies.

Dr. Jerome is highly involved in Medical Informatics and the development and advancement of electronic medical records.

As President of The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission Nuclear/PET Division he is responsible for the certification of Cardiac Imaging facilities.
