Dr. Xu is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  Before she graduated from SJTU in 2008, Dr. Xu also worked as an intern researcher at Shanghai Institute for Biological Sciences.   In 2013, Dr. Xu received her Ph.D. at a CAMPEP-accredited Medical Physics program at VCU.  Her graduate researches focused on the probablistic (robust) treatment planning optimization to consider organ motion, delineation variation and setup uncertainty for IMRT.  In 2015, Dr. Xu finished a two-year physics residency at the University of Maryland (CAMPEP-accredited) and joined the faculty at the same year.
