The University of Maryland Department of Psychiatry Professional Association (P.A.) represents the collection of our outpatient specialty practices committed to providing outstanding psychiatric treatment and resources to the UMB and UMMS campus and extended communities in Maryland and beyond.

What We Do
The Psychiatry P.A. includes a variety of specialized outpatient programs, including both Child & Adolescent and Adult programs where residents and faculty members work together in the provision of compassionate clinical care and innovative research endeavors.
The Faculty Practice P.A. office provides a gateway to the Department’s extensive outpatient psychiatric programs, including general appointments for evaluation and treatment, as well as to our other extensive programs including Geriatric and Acute Adult Psychiatry, Women’s Mental Health, Addictions Psychiatry and Community Mental Health Programs.
