A technologically advanced laboratory for the study of gene function and the mechanisms of disease

Now in vivo measurements of cardiac and vascular function are feasible, even in conscious and free-moving rats and mice.

The SAPC employs high-resolution ultrasonics and radiotelemetry techniques to provide cardiovascular/ pulmonary phenotyping and tumor visualization by ultrasound in rodents. Small-animal surgical expertise and custom services are available.
