Medical Physics Residency Training: Application Process

All applicants must posses PhD in Medical Physics. Applicants with PhD or equivalent degree in physics, or relevant fields with following six subjects taken college level or above may apply. Six subjects are:

  • Radiological Physics and dosimetry
  • Radiation Protection and Radiation safety
  • Fundamentals of Imaging in Medicine
  • Radiobiology
  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Radiation Therapy Physics

All applicants must apply through AAPM CAP.

Residency Interviews

After our selection committee has reviewed your application, you will receive an email or phone call informing you of the status of your application. All interviews are by invitation only. Interviews last for half of the day. We have found that this format allows for a more organized interview for both you and our faculty and minimizes interruptions.
