Overview

The Office of Public Affairs works to enhance the image, identity and reputation of the School of Medicine by publicizing faculty, staff and student achievements and by providing news and information to internal and external stakeholders and the community. To that end, the Office of Public Affairs, among other things:

• Serves as a liaison between the School of Medicine and the news media and public
• Writes and produces a wide range of internal and external publications featuring news and human interests stories about the accomplishments of faculty, staff and students
• Plans and organizes educational programs for the community and special events for School of Medicine stakeholders
• Develops and manages Website content and establishes online standards for official School of Medicine Websites
