The University of Maryland School of Medicine is actively recruiting for a full-time faculty position. The position will require a full-time psychology or medical research faculty in the area of addictions neuroscience, translational, or molecular research; a strong neuroscience background in either the basic, translational, or clinical sciences is also required. This individual will be expected to participate in larger research consortia. This individual will be involved in prevention, treatment, or outcome research, will supplement the clinical neuroscience medications at the Department's Clinical Neurobehavioral Center (CNC), a facility for the teaching of research fellows, students, post-doctoral students, and other affiliated mental health professionals. The successful applicant also will be expected to participate in the educational missions of the Department and School of Medicine in addition to mentoring students, fellows, and residents. The position requires a funded clinical research collaborator for its clinical mission, including addressing issues related with the prevention and treatment of disorders that affect impulse control or are the result of mental trauma or mood dysregulation.

Full-time Faculty Psychiatrists

Adult Psychiatry Faculty
The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, is seeking a full-time adult psychiatrist with an interest and expertise in inpatient and outpatient work. The position is a full-time faculty appointment at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and offers exciting opportunities for clinical care and teaching. It is comprised of half time on an adult inpatient unit covering up to 8 patients with a PGY-II resident and medical student in addition to working in an outpatient Mental Health clinic and the Faculty Group Practice. Candidates must be ABPN certified or eligible. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
Consultation Liaison Faculty Position
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a consultation liaison psychiatrist to join our Division of CL. The Division maintains an ACGME-accredited Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship program and is an active training site for psychiatry residents and medical students. The primary responsibilities of the position include providing inpatient consultations, outpatient consultations, and supervising and teaching trainees. Fellowship training in Psychosomatic Medicine or comparable clinical experience as well as an interest in research is preferred.
