Biosketch

Dr. Salimi is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She is a physician-scientist with extensive experience as a genetic epidemiologist, and computational biologist focusing on chronic diseases and aging and implementations in public health. She has participated in the designing and implementation of several research projects that have built the foundation for her epidemiological, computational and biological skills, culminating in several publications and grants.
